Recruiting
A path to the next level.
Recruiting is a process, not an event. SLAAM walks alongside the family from the first profile through signing day.
The Pillars
Four things we work for every athlete.
Live Exposure
SLAAM teams play in live-period circuits and showcase events where college coaches are in the building. Rosters are placed on the floor when the right rooms are watching.
Film and Profiles
Edited highlight film, season cut-ups, and recruiting profiles maintained for every athlete who wants to play at the next level.
Direct Coach Outreach
Direct conversations with college coaches who fit each athlete academically and athletically. Recruiting is a relationship business and we work it like one.
Academic Accountability
Grades come up before stats do. Athletes are expected to handle their work in the classroom. We help families track progress against eligibility.
The Timeline
Three stages, one runway.
Recruiting moves at different speeds for every athlete. Here is how we think about the runway from first day in the program to signing day.
Early High School
Foundation phase.
Develop the body, the work ethic, and the basics of being a recruitable athlete. Start a profile, start collecting film, start understanding what coaches are looking for.
Middle High School
Exposure phase.
Live-period play. Camps. Visits. The athlete is being seen and the family is starting to build a target list of programs that fit academically and athletically.
Late High School
Decision phase.
Conversations turn into offers. Visits turn into commitments. The work in the previous two phases is what makes this one possible.
